Family Sunday Fun Day Local Free Event

A Book to Grow On, LLC is proud to sponsor a local free event for the northeast Florida community. Conveniently located in the Mandarin section of Jacksonville, Florida, the event, Family Sunday Fun Day, is open and free to the public on Sunday afternoon, September 15, 2024.

Featuring family and relationally healthy games and activities, music, speakers and readings, the event brings together several local organizations who help victims of domestic violence, child abuse and neglect to educate and equip the community so that we can all be better prepared to help when the need arises.

How do we pair such an intense subject with fun and family activities? Easy. We keep the intense subject matter mostly on paper–items you can take with you, and speeches and readings clean. We focus on the tools and resources we all need to build stronger, healthier relationship skills and connections. We mix it with fun, which everyone knows helps our brains to open up and retain good information with positive memories.

If you’re interested in sharing what you do at the event, reach out at once! Otherwise, just come, bring friends, family, kids, and enjoy an afternoon of fun fall activities and music. Food trucks onsite (at their prices) include:
